Beer Anyone?

The closest we got to Oktoberfest this year (not counting the aborted attempt to go to Baden Baden which ended up with a zi cha meal instead) were these snacks we had at the German fair in Ngee Ann City:

baked apple

The sausages were great, especially with the sweet mustard, but the baked apple wasn't quite what we thought it'd be. The apple itself was fine but the pastry wrapped around it was like Yorkshire pudding, hmmph.
